Ash glaze is made by using wood ashes, clay and water and because of its natural composition gives often unpredictable outcomes.
This research dives into the possibilities of ash glazes made from selected trees and herbs and results into a collection of hand built vessels inspired by the uncontrollable yet natural character of the glaze.
