Luce Tiles /
Luce is an investigation into the application and distribution of light within our living spaces, which researches the tactile and material qualities of light.
Thought as reaction to white and smooth walls and inspired by the use of light in architecture, these tiles wants to connect and communicate with our interiors through the use of light, relating surface and space.
The collection uses as a reference the classical Greek colonnades and its main styles to create two relieves that profit from daylight by taking advantage of the different direction of natural light during the day. As result, as light moves, the tiles create a play of light and shadows that changes the perception of our surroundings.
The tiles are made of mat porcelain to better interact with light and resemble the wall surface.
